Before graduating from college, a hearing-impaired
young man decides to carry his guitar on his back and ride a bike
along the Taiwanese coastlines, embarking on a seven-day round-island
trip. Island Etude captures both the beauty and the reality of Coastal
Taiwan's landscapes during the spring of 2006. The different sceneries
of the island's eastern, western, northern and southern shorelines
reflect the people and stories that the main character encounters
during the trip. This is a Road Movie traveling along Taiwan's beautiful
coastal lines.
《練習曲》是一個聽損青年在大學畢業前，背著吉他騎腳踏車環島的故事，在短短的100分鐘內，帶領觀眾游走台灣一圈，經歷人生的一個禮拜。在這一個禮拜中，透過主角本身及旅途中所遇到人與點點滴滴的故事，傳達出導演及每個生長在這片土地的居民對家園的熱愛。《悲情城市》資深攝影師陳懷恩首度執導的真摯之作，壯闊且細膩的攝影，捕捉了真正屬於台灣的人文風景。 |
