Before graduating from college, a hearing-impaired young man decides to carry his guitar on his back and ride a bike along the Taiwanese coastlines, embarking on a seven-day round-island trip. Island Etude captures both the beauty and the reality of Coastal Taiwan's landscapes during the spring of 2006. The different sceneries of the island's eastern, western, northern and southern shorelines reflect the people and stories that the main character encounters during the trip. This is a Road Movie traveling along Taiwan's beautiful coastal lines.
